Spring Field Work

Dad was able to work in the fields a bit this week. He plowed some of our old ditches deeper, and disked the soybean fields under. It’s been a dry spring, so we wouldn’t mind a little bit of rain to settle some of the dust, just as long as it’s not torrential! The lilacs will be blooming soon, as you can see in this first photo.

Look at the rich shade of brown in that field! Our rhubarb patch is also looking great this spring. We can’t wait to make all our favorite recipes with it.

Thank you for visiting A Homespun Country Life!
